A promotional campaign, called “Bridge Bucks” is underway in the Redding area. Sponsored by the Redding Chamber of Commerce and the City of Redding through their “Shop Redding” program, the program is designed to assist local businesses during the Cypress Avenue Bridge reconstruction process.
The program, which began on March 6, 2008, includes local media that will promote any of the 276 businesses in and around the Cypress Avenue detour-affected area who have chosen to participate.
