Well the question is on a lot of our minds…where do I go today for a great St. Patty’s Day lunch celebration? Well Clint’s answer is The Post Office Saloon in the downtown Redding mall. For 4 years now we have made a tradition of going to the Post Office for corned beef and cabbage and Clint seems to like it a lot. Of course, going to a restaurant where “everybody knows your name” can be fun, at least at the Post Office our waitress (the one we love) knows my whole order by heart: a veggie melt, salad w/ honey mustard and a side order of bread. She is ever-faithful and remembers each time we go in…now THAT is service. Oh yes, they usually have a live band there to celebrate in the evening on St. Patty’s day!
