For those of us that have been around Redding for a while we’ve seen many tenants occupy the building on Churn Creek in the TCBY parking lot. The most recent tenants were Taco Del Mar and Gringo’s, both Mexican restaurants with fairly short-lived histories in Redding. Unfortunately, Gringo’s only opened about 2 months ago and is now closing its doors to make way for a new kind of restaurant in Redding. The new GreenGo’s restaurant will have a menu catering to the health and environment concious. Featuring hormone-free meats and organic ingredients this “fast food” restaurant will be like no other in our area. Look for the new restaurant around September 1, 2008!
