Gorgeous Redding Weather

Well today is one of those days where you want to call in sick to work and enjoy the weather. Although it is still fairly chilly when the wind blows, the sun has been shining all day and has dried up most of the rain. This is a great thing since tonight we are supposed to get another storm through our area bringing more rain and otherwise wet weather. There is no snow forecasted for the lower elevations but the upper elevations still are getting large amounts.

For those that don’t know, the Mt. Shasta Ski Park ( www.skipark.com ) currently has the most snow in the nation for ANY ski park which is wonderful for skiers and snowboarders alike. If you go to the ski park website you can view their “snow cam” and see what the current conditions are there. From what I have heard, this weekend is supposed to be the best skiing of the year (so far) with near 60 degree weather coupled with sunshine and a large snowpack…so head up to the park for some great times this weekend but be sure to drive carefully!
