As with all good hunting spots- I can’t tell you where it was but it was awesome. My husband is a hunter and I went with him for the first time on the holiday–Monday. We actually had a forked horn walk up to us within about 30 yards while we were waiting on a ridge. We saw a total of 4 bucks in one day. This was less than 30 minutes out of Redding. A heart-healthy hike in, a great view—if you live in the Redding area you would be doing yourself a big favor to get out and enjoy the great outdoors that surrounds us!
